AI & Robotics Museum – Mexico City Competition Opens

AI and Robotics Museum, Mexico City Competition Opens

Registration for the long awaited AI & Robotics Museum, Mexico City architecture design competition finally opens.

The challenge  is to design an AI & ROBOTICS MUSEUM in Ciudad de México (CDMX) within the Nuevo Polanco district with the capacity to house temporary and permanent exhibitions relating to AI and robotics encompassing the history, advances and other immersive experiences.

This competition seeks to generate imaginative and innovative solutions with sustainability (such as energy-efficient systems), flexibility, accessibility and the impact on existing surrounding structures and communities in mind. The design should be inspirational, innovative, transformative, sensitive to the area, contemporary or futuristic whilst adding to the dialogue of buildings and structures reshaping the identity of this area.

And it is an exciting prospect that should have participants come up with a design concept and proposal for a new museum within the Nuevo Polanco district within Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico in an area bordered by Boulevard Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, Presa Falcón and Presa Danxhó. This is a cultural area of interest for local and international visitors due to the presents of museums and centres such as Museo Soumaya Art Museum, Museo Jumex, Inspark Virtual reality amusement park, Acuario Inbursa aquarium exhibition centre and Teatro Telcel.

Additionally, it is a topic that providers architects and designers with a unique opportunity to showcase vision, creativity and innovation in the continuing transformation and regeneration of an area that is fast become “The contemporary cultural hub” for the city of Mexico – a location with a rich industrial history and situated in proximity to the Museo Soumaya Art Museum and Museo Jumex museum, it offers an opportunity for another groundbreaking and breathtaking structure and a new landmark destination with both visual and experience for both local and international visitors.

Arquitectum welcomes architects and design enthusiasts from around the world to submit solutions with their unique vision for such a museum taking into context and location of the site.

Arquitectum would like to take this opportunity to wish all propective participants the best of luck with their proposals.
